Productivity Tip # 2: Shortcut to launch any program using keyboard

There are lots of programs available to launch any program at the stroke of a keyboard like Launchy , SlickRun ... Being a geek, my favorite is mimicking the system32 folder and launching all the programs from the command prompt. There's a small configuration that's required to perform this. Create a shortcut for the program to be used. Create a shortcut for Acrobat reader and name it Reader Create a new folder in C:\ and name it launch. Move the created shortcut from step 1 to C:\launch. Add the path variable. Right click My Computer -> Properties -> Advanced -> Environment Variables Select Path from System Variables and Edit. In the Edit System Variable enter the folder path. Goto Start -> Run and enter the Reader to open Acrobat reader.
